Welcome to the OCI Healing Research Foundation, a non-profit organization established for education, research and the advancement of Tong Ren Healing worldwide in order to develop safe and more cost effective health care. Here you will find information about the research and educational work the foundation has undertaken, and resources to learn more about Tong Ren Healing.

The OCI Healing Research Foundation was established in 2007 to advance education and research into Tong Ren Healing.

Board members come from a variety of backgrounds; including higher education, medicine, business and management, marketing and communication, massage therapy and acupuncture, and Tong Ren Healing. Working together they are identifying and promoting research opportunities, helping classes to expand into new outlets, raising funds to increase our impact, and developing new materials to help spread the latest news about Tong Ren Healing.

The Foundation is particularly interested in identifying opportunities to conduct research into the effectiveness of Tong Ren Healing in treating many serious illnesses.

Our recent activities include the following:

  • Joining with the Collaborative Medicine Working Group to increase the visibility of Tong Ren in the medical community.
  • Promoting Tong Ren at natural living workshops and complementary therapy conferences where we made important connections and expanded our outreach efforts.
  • Extensively revising our educational materials to better present information and provide more current updates on new developments in Tong Ren healing.
  • Helping to gather additional data from cancer patients participating in Tong Ren healing classes for the next phase in a longitudinal study of Tong Ren’s effectiveness in treating cancer.
  • Developing an information packet of materials as a resource for Western medical practitioners who might be interested in offering Tong Ren Healing classes.  
  • Reaching out to the medical and academic communities to discuss opportunities for further research into Tong Ren’s effectiveness in treating cancer, HIV/AIDS and other major diseases.
